Day #66 *March 7, 2018* – You Are Very Competent

Day #66 *March 7, 2018* – You Are Very Competent

You have the ability to get the job done. This is especially true when your job is finding, applying, interviewing for, and securing your dream job. You are competent. You are skilled. You are valuable. You are knowledgeable. You are proficient. You are talented. Do not overlook your career competence. There are so many opportunities to do just that. Rejection letters, not hearing back from employers, and negativity from your network can all make you feel less effective and less capable. So, you MUST remember for yourself that you have the skill and expertise required for the job. Fifty people can tell you, but unless you believe it for yourself, it won’t feel true for you.  And remember, you can also do this job as well as any other person in the role. Don’t give up on yourself. I know that it may seem scary. It may seem intimidating. This dream job of yours seems like it is light years away. But with every application, every network you build, every time you give your full self and show up with your best foot forward, you are bringing your dream job closer. Just keep swimming.

Sending you Love & Light,
Jenn,
