23 Apr Day #113 – April 23, 2018 – She Who Laughs Last, Laughs Best!
She who laughs last, laughs best. Remember the quote? Okay, so I’ve changed it up a little to use “she” instead of “he,” but you still remember it, right? It’s a great quote that reminds you to not worry over what others may think about your recent setback. So, you were overlooked for the opportunity? Don’t let that stop you from striving. Keep going! God has something wonderful in store, but only as long as you keep moving forward and do not give up. It is unfortunate that there are many who find comfort in your struggle to the top. It is not because they are bad or callus, but it is because it validates where they are in life. See, you staying at the bottom, overlooked, and underutilized plays right into their need to be mediocre. If you were to be great, it would force them to ponder their own ability. So, pay no attention to those that are laughing at you now. They will be the same ones seeking your advice later. So, continue to strive. Keep looking forward. Leave naysayers in your rear view mirror. There’s oh so much more in store for you.
Sending you Love & Light,
