Day #132 | May 12, 2018 – Do Not Let Others Clip Your Wings. It’s Time To Fly.

Be wary of people who give you advice on your ability to achieve based on the prism through which they see their own ability to achieve. Here’s what this means. There will be people who tell you that something is not possible to accomplish and it will not be because it is true, in general. They will tell you this because it is a belief they have bought into based on their own life experiences and perceptions of their own limitations. TD Jakes said, “when you are a giraffe and you receive criticism from a turtles, keep in mind that they are reporting the view from the level they are on.” When you are an eagle, do not let chickens make you believe you cannot fly. I hate when bad managers happen to good employees. Bad managers are the ones most capable to clipping your wings and passing along negative messages of your worth and ability. Be protective of your spirit when you are at work. Always know who you are and always know that you are capable. This is important. There’s so much for you to do in this life. There’s so much for you to achieve. You will not be able to be, do, or have all that you are meant to if you continue to allow others to set you back. The world is waiting for you to stand up.  So, what are you waiting for? Stand up.

Sending you Love & Light,
