Day 150 | It Is Either DRIVING You Or DISTRACTING You.

Day 150 | It Is Either DRIVING You Or DISTRACTING You.

“If you are not for me, you are only standing in my way.” That’s one quote that I’m proud of and is one of my favorites. It means that if you are not supporting my journey, you are only distracting it. Period. What are other distractions? Simple. Anything that does not serve the person you wish to be in life is a distraction. It is a detour. For as long as you allow things that do not serve you to enter your journey, consider yourself taking the scenic route to your highest potential. I hear you asking, “what does it mean for something to not serve me?” A thing does not serve you if it does not help you reach the person you want to be in life. All of the people, places, and things in your life are either driving you toward your highest potential or distracting you from your highest potential. Have you taken inventory lately? Most people would probably discover that they were depleted. They’ve been giving all of their energy away trying to fight and ward off all of the distractions in their life. You, my friend, have the ability to be even more amazing than you know. You were created to live a top shelf life and to experience the benefits of your talents and the manifestation of your dreams. But it is up to you to protect your path. This journey to your best career is hard enough. The more you must maneuver obstacles, barriers, and temptations, the more likely the longer you will have to wait for your turn for greatness. Or you can stay focused, keep your eyes on the prize, and be intentional about who and what you give your energy to. It is that simple. Trust me. Onward and upward!
