Day 158 | Go At It ALONE If You Must; Just Go At It

Day 158 | Go At It ALONE If You Must; Just Go At It

I would NOT have accomplished too many things in life if I had to wait for others to do that something with me. Your loved ones will make you wait, won’t they? By the time you wait on those who do not have time right now, or the skeptical ones who need to “wait and see”, or the “I will do it on my own time,” or the “check in with me later” people—your opportunity WILL pass! Sometimes—correction, MOST times—you must go at this journey to your highest self alone and trust that those who choose to stand on the side lines will join this journey later. Or NOT. This journey may be for you only. And you know what? That…too…is okay. Go at it alone if you must. Just go at it! This vision of grandeur was given to you. It was not given to them.  This call was on your life. It was not on theirs. There’s nothing to be upset, frustrated, or angry about anymore. There’s no judgement. And trust me, I know that it can be scary starting this journey alone. But start it anyway. Start it somehow. And I guarantee you one thing. While on this journey to a better career and a better life, you will cross paths, bump into, and meet at intersections with people who were already going in your direction anyway. And it doesn’t mean you will forget about your previous loved ones. There’s a time, a place, and a need for each person on your journey. Find gratefulness in them all. And keep moving forward.
