Day 162 | No, Thank You. This Time, I Will Bet On Myself!

Day 162 | No, Thank You. This Time, I Will Bet On Myself!

Thank you for the rules, the advice, the suggestions and the direction you have given me (over time) on how I should conduct my life. But I will now take it from here. I’m back in the driver’s seat of my own life. I will look deep inside myself for the answer to what is next and what is best for me. I Will Bet On Myself. Many of you should have said that a LONG time ago, but there is still time! There comes a time in each of our lives where we must ask ourselves, who is at the wheel? Who am I ultimately allowing to control my destiny? Are you floating from position to position, and /or company to company, aimlessly? Do you have a voice in your career trajectory? Are people always telling you what you should or should not be, do, or have to get to your next level? OR are you strategically making decisions about your career that best serves the person YOU want to be. Don’t you know that the same smart person who brings your current frustrating and under appreciative employer million dollar ideas, can be the same smart and gifted person bringing a great organization that treats you better (or maybe even your OWN company) million dollar ideas? You are smart, skilled, talented, and resourceful no matter which organization you belong to.  You take who you are wherever you go. So, take a risk on the skill and talent you have. Always invest in yourself more than you invest in anyone else. Your cup must be full in order for you to have a fountain from which to give. The world is waiting for you to bet on yourself today.

#KeepGoing, #KeepGrowing, #KeepGlowing
