Day 187 | Faith. Courage. Action. That’s My Legacy.

Day 187 | Faith. Courage. Action. That’s My Legacy.

“I will not rest until people know they can rely on me for being an example of what will happen—in any aspect of your life—when  FAITH, COURAGE and ACTION combine. That is my legacy. And my legacy is too important to give up for anybody, anything, and any obstacle.” I wrote this statement a few weeks ago while at a conference. There was a speaker, Barbara Pinson Lash, speaking about legacy and how legacy starts now. I carry this statement with me and I ask myself, “am I living my legacy today?” See, we do not have to wait until we are gone to create a legacy. It starts now. Our legacy is intertwined in what we do, why we do, and in how we live.  Are you ready to consider your legacy? People will know that they can rely on you for….what? Answer that question. And then ask yourself how you can intertwine your legacy into all aspects of your life—especially on your job because that is where you spend the most of your day and where you have the opportunity to impact the widest audience. And it does not matter what you do for a living. Everyone has something to offer the world. What will your legacy be?
