Day 189 | How Do You Know When It Is Time To Let Go?

Day 189 | How Do You Know When It Is Time To Let Go?

When a person, place, or thing no longer serves you, it is time to release it—with love and light. What does it mean for something to NOT serve you? It means that “it” (whatever “it” may be) is no longer assisting you in becoming more of the person you know you were meant to be. To some, smoking no longer serves them, so it is time to let go. To others, it could be time for a business partnership to dissolve. And then to others, it may be time to move on to a new career opportunity and say goodbye to your current boss, no matter how close you two are.  People believe that letting go is one of the hardest things to do. In reality, holding on is the toughest thing one can do. The ramifications can be brutal. Holding on can hold you back, make you question your own self and worth, make you feel less than great. And nothing is worth holding on to that takes you away from living a great life. You’ve identified what’s no longer serving you? Okay, are you ready for the next step? Release it. Move forward. Trust the process. Period.
