Day 204 | The One Reason I LOVE Jealousy

Day 204 | The One Reason I LOVE Jealousy

I hold the belief that jealousy (in its many forms) is an awakening of a desire within you. Many are so far removed from understanding their own desires that jealousy is the only way for a desire to come through. Your desires are trying to enter into your current reality. They are trying to wake you up and stir something within you. That’s why we ALL have moments where we feel it. And it typically happens when we are standing in the midst of a desire we wish to ALSO manifest. When was the last time you felt jealousy? Think back to it for a moment. It may have been a subtle feeling, or it may have been an overwhelmingly powerful feeling. Was it because your friend already received a job offer and you are still waiting for your interview? Did a loved one get a raise, but you’ve not asked for yours? Did your co-worker go on a lavish vacation and you don’t have the funds just yet. The feeling isn’t the problem. The problem is what we do with the feeling. Don’t act out in negativity. Instead, embrace it as a “met too” desire. Allow yourself you feel whatever it is that is rising within you. Ask yourself, “Is this something that I also want?”  Whenever I see great things happen to people all around me, I take it as a sign that my desire must be on its way. The more people closest to me that manifest a desire that I have, I know that I am coming up soon too. I am happy for them as if it is happening to me too. And soon it will. It will for you too. Just keep believing it. Keep moving forward.
