Day 227 | Don’t Go At It Alone—Get Connected!

Day 227 | Don’t Go At It Alone—Get Connected!

One of the greatest gifts we have is our ability to connect to others. See, there’s so much value in connecting. There’s help, there’s support, there’s clarity, there’s friendship, there’s mentor-ship, and love, and relationship. There’s value. To be in isolation was never a vision for our lives. If you are ever in need of personal or professional growth—connect to another person who has grown in your area of need already. Do not spin your wheels trying to go at it alone, or trying to be “self-made.” It is unnecessary. Everything that you can imagine becoming better at, odds are, someone else has improved some aspect of it for themselves. Some people choose to go through life with a partner, some employees go through their career with a mentor or sponsor, some people have coaches, others trainers, others consultants, others assistants. It doesn’t matter who you decide to connect to in order to reach your highest potential. Just make sure they’ve already reached theirs in that area. And then be a sponge. And when someone asks you to return the favor for them (and it feels like the right opportunity), pay it forward. Get connected today!
