22 Aug Day 234 | Find Gratitude In Your Current Employment
As you go in to work today, find gratitude in all that you have—and you will receive more. I want you to think back for a moment. Remember when you prayed for this job? You hoped and you wished that they would call you to offer this opportunity to you. Do you remember that? There’s gratitude to be given in everything, even when we are ready to move on. I tell people all the time that although I’m happy to be an entrepreneur, corporate America served a great purpose in my life at the time—and I will forever be grateful to the opportunities that I had to learn, develop and grow while working for others. All of those experiences made me who I am today. So, too, are your experiences making you a better person. Your current experiences are preparing you for the next chapter. So be grateful for each of them—the good and the bad. And the next time you feel bummed out about going into work, just remember, that this job is serving a purpose in your life today. Find its purpose. Deliver gratitude. Keep smiling. As long as you keep moving forward, your future will continue to get brighter.
