05 Mar Day #64 *March 5, 2018* – How Badly Do You Want It?
How badly do you want that particular new job? Are you willing to do the work to get it? Sometimes the work is easy, like filling out paperwork or submitting an application. But sometimes the work is hard, like navigating workplace politics and unconscious bias. When doing “the work” means working through challenges—seen and unseen—are you willing to keep going? How much is this new job worth to you? Always know the value of where you are going. Some destinations require you to go through challenging times that cause you to doubt who you are, question your worthiness, and be skeptical about the outcome. But it is usually by overcoming those challenges, that you get to the sweetest outcomes. To whom much is given, much is expected. And that is why so many who are living their dreams today could tell you about the nightmare that they had to go through in order to get to where they are today. Trust me, it is not just you that feels like you are walking through the dark right now. That dark path that you are on today is leading you somewhere. Trust the process, appreciate the journey, and keep going. Greatness continues to wait for you. Have you taken your one stop forward today yet?
Sending you Love & Light,
